Whatcom Artist Studio Tour Group Show Opens at Voxel Gallery

Studio Tour Group Show at Voxel Gallery, 312 West Champion Street in downtown Bellingham, August 28–
September 27, 2026. An opening reception will be held during Bellingham’s First Friday Art Walk on Friday,
September 4, from 6–9 PM. The public is invited to meet and connect with the artists, experience a sampling
of their work, and get a taste of what awaits them during the annual Whatcom Artist Studio Tour, the first two
weekends in October.
This group show exhibition at the Voxel Gallery brings together a collection of work of the participating
studio tour artists. It offers visitors a glimpse into the breadth of creative practices represented by the studio
tour before venturing out to the artists’ own workspaces in October. This exhibit is the only Studio Tour Group
Show in Bellingham this year. The tour “Kick Off Group Show” will be at the Vault Wine & Bistro in Blaine,
opening Friday October 2,2026.
For 32 years, the WhatcomArtist Studio Tour has invited the public behind the scenes and into the working studios
of artists throughout Whatcom County. Founded in 1994, the annual tour is a free, self-guided experience that
gives visitors insight into artists’ creative processes, work environments, and daily practices, while providing
opportunities to purchase original artwork directly from its makers.
The 2026 Whatcom Artist Studio Tour, takes place over two weekends: October 3–4 and October 10–11, 2026.
Visitors can explore participating studios throughout Bellingham and Whatcom County and discover the people,
places, and processes behind the artwork. Free brochures about the tour are distributed throughout Whatcom County.
